    hi all what do u all think of the leon cupra r. red, tinted windows, 225 model. i am torn between one of these or a civic type r. please reply as a truly would like your oppinions. regards sy.

    cheers guys, but there is alot of ctr about now they are becoming as common as saxos! and u dont really see as many lcr about do u? also like u say for the money they are a performance bargain and u get good gains from remapping. either by jabba sport or revo. do any of u know the gains.

    Same gains as for an S3...between 255 and 270BHP and roughly 280-290 lb-ft.

    I have been concidering the Cupra R too............nice car, just a shame leather is not standard

    The seats (The ones you sit on, not the car!) do look nice though!

    Yeah they do look nice.........there are a lot of differences between the Cupra and Cupra R.

    thats true mike i was abit gutted to they did not have leather but the one i just brought has the optional recaro seats which are even nicer than the nice, standard seats. i am well pleased with it. all the toys to 6cd changer, sat nav, the recaros, climate, and aluminium facia. not to mention the 225bhp.

    £14250 mike from a stealer to. premiere seat in stoke would recomend them anyday. they knocked me a grand off its asking price and gave me a killer price for my part ex to. private they start around £1300 for an 02 model lcr with no optional extras so i dont think i have done to bad.

    That is not dad at all...........the one I saw and interested in is £15295 for a 2003 7000 miles in pearl black and there are no extras that I can see but the changer is standard.

    I might have to look elsewhere after seeing what you got for your money

    mike i was shopping around for ages trying to find a reasonably priced one. mostly private but when a stealer offered me that price i could not refiuse.
