Led Bulbs - Audi S4

Hi All

Can you put led bulb in the front spot/fogs & side lights & if so any issues or problems & what bulb size/type ?

Side lights yes and they are 501 push fit type. No idea on fogs as mine aren't wired up iirc they are H7.

Front side lights aren't monitored by the bulb warning system.

If its a facelift S4 they are not push fit 501's but H6W bayonet type for the side lights.

Really?? Is that unique to the xenon units as I have facelifts on mine and they are definitely 501's

Yeah its unique to xenon units, apparently the H6W's were a better match in colour so they kept them in the xenons. Just changed mine to LED's.

Never had the xenons so wasn't aware of that one.

Don't use the look ups generally as the info is so often wrong. Battery jumps to mind as everybody lists the wrong battery for pre-facelift A4's which put the terminals right under the scuttle panel.
