Launch x431 same codes as vcds?

Hi guys, trying to calibrate my steering angle sensor, my vcds is unable to do it, and read somewhere that launch is capable of doing it too, my friend is lending me his launch software, will it be the same log in codes as vcds? Thanks jack.

think its different to be honest. VCDS SHOULD do it! if it doesnt theres some thing wrong. i have a genuine X-431 diagun and pretty sure its different log in

Hi mate thanks for reply, I've just read that someone had exact same problem as me and they did this and it worked so worth a try, my vcds was a cheap one because I didn't know what to go for as Im new to this, so I hope that's the problem, just looked on launches site it's the same log ins etc, cheers jack
