"Documentary investigating the decline in popularity of working men's clubs in Britain. Film-maker Henry Singer spends four months in Bradford, interviewing members of the societies about how modern life is treating them and their children. Many blame a perceived lack of employment opportunities in the city on immigration and the Government, fearing that the clubs that for so long united their communities will no longer be able to survive. Part of the White season SUB"

Wouldn't have thought there'd be many working men's clubs in Bradford, plenty of dole offices but not many working men's clubs.
