Anyone knows the part# of the lambda sensor that is installed before the catalytic converter ?
I had a track day few days ago, and the old lambda sensor was ripped out of the downpipe (it had poor thread already which is now completely gone)

I was looking on 1-2-3 auction site but i dont know which one is the right one.

    Thanks for help guys!

Model/year of car may help... best bet is to have a look on Euro Car Parts or GSF and get a Bosch one not a copy/pattern part...

As long as its a Bosch sensor then looks like the fella... GSF are fairly cheap for sensors... maybe worth seeing if you have one close to you..

Not to sure if GSF sell Bosch lambda sensors for the S3- I tried getting one today but there ordering one in to find out. The bloke there said the part number didn't look familiar so I'll post up once I find out. £69 inc vat though which would be the cheapest Bosch lambda sensor I've found anywhere.

If GSF turns out to be a copy then I'll be getting it from this place I think-

Air Flow Meters, Lambda Sensors & Other Cheap Japanese Car Parts

They post pretty much anywhere from the looks of things OP and sell the Bosch lambda sensors- I'd give them a call if your still unsure which one you need

I did a little research and it seems that pre-facelift models had same pre and post car lambda sensors.
Facelift model front lambda sensor is a wideband one and has 5 cables. Its playing an active role in adjusting A/F ratio.
And yes, its more expensive :)

GSF do sell Bosch sensors... I bought mine from there :)

    You are correct :)

APY prefacelift S3's are narrow band, AMK/BAM facelift S3's are wideband...

I don't know if Euro Car Parts post outside the UK... if you get really stuck drop Bill at Badger5 an email as I am sure he can sort you one out... he sends stuff everywhere :)

Mine's an APY prefacelift S3 so narrow band :) Although when it was on the rollers Bill was saying it was a lot higher than narrow bands would reach/show :uhm: (Or something along those lines! lol)

May be GSF don't do a Bosch pre-cat lambda for mine....still waiting for the call for them though!

Can you remember what you paid for yours out of interest Tuffty?

Mine was wideband and paid about £80 but that was nearly 2 years ago...
