    Hi,
Just got myself an A3 1.8 T Sport '98, and with no proof of belts being done recently, think it would be a good time to get them done sooner rather than later. I read it's every 70,000 miles or 5 years? The cars done 127,000 miles so hopefully it's at least had them done once in its life!
I've got all the parts, belts and pump (with metal impellor) so looking at getting an independant garage to fit them as I haven't got the time to tackle it myself, what kind of price should I be expecting? I don't want to get ripped off.
    Cheers.

I've just got 2 quotes from mechanics who are friends of friends, those were £150 and £130 plus parts, hope this helps.

Been quoted £90 labour + anti-freeze from a local independant mechanic, so pretty happy with that! :yahoo:
