kw coilovers

    Could someone please tell me the stock height from ground to center hub or center hub to fender. I just installed kw coilovers and didn't check the original height before installing:banghead::banghead:. How low can I lower the car without any rubbing whatsoever on 18" rims? Thanks

    Unless KW have changed struts, you can lower the car max 65 mm, that shold be possible without other mods to the car

    I don't know about the measurements but I do know that you won't have any scrubbing issues when wound down to the lowest setting. I had my kw's right at the bottom on the standard 18's.

    sounds great as i have set of v3's that are waiting to be fitted along with arb's, and was thinking slamin it down :D

    Same here. Have KW inox on lowest position with my original 18's. No rubbing, only moving snow with the bottom of my car. Looks great and handles great

    comfortable, yes and no. Original S3 suspension on my new S3 sportback was quite hard compared to my S3 8L with KW sport suspension just 25mm lowered. The coilovers are quite hard on bigger bump when driving on the highway, but I like it. Lots of people might think it is to hard, but that's personal. i would do it again, because it looks soooo much better. It makes it another car in my eyes.

    Yes if I was to go for coils, comfort would be more important than the price

    Having said that the only coil-over experience I have is from the cheap kits for MK11 golfs, corrados etc as that's what my friends are running
