I think I know who's that is - you can trust him 100%. Not really keen to identify him openly though for obvious reasons.

neither am I or him but the chrome is available - nice spec otherwise!

VERY good spec yeah!

Just tell your mate that the guy is dodgy so he doesn't get one over on you

Excellent - hope to hear from him!

My mate currently drives a white MK5 GTI DSG with 18" CH's and eibach coils - stunning but fancies a change! coincidentally when I changed my car lol

You have PM Boydie.

I echo Iggu - I know the car and I know the owner.
You can trust him 100% - he's a VAG obsessive ;)

Could be too late though ...... act now !

A mate is interested since I bought mine and he has to do one over me and get it in white, RNSE and recaros lol

Lol Boydie i know where your coming from mate. Once i said i was looking for an A3 and put my deposit down on one after 2 motnhs of looking. My friend went and got one from Carshop! A week before i was collecting mine from Audi lol. Expect i had a better deal, better model and less miles.
And he car blew up this year lol!
Nice looking Ibis White, Looks different with the grill mind.

i know that this car has had arch work done, and both sides painted.

Oh I know who it is. The guy from the office. White grille = fail.

Oh how times have changed

If you want a better definition of fail:

How about turning up to get a merc brake conversion on your A3 and not even having any brake pads thinking an Audi specialist would just have some AMG pads lying around....then being sent miles to every merc dealership around to try and get some. :tocktock:

P.S. You're so "euro" it hurts

Ohhhh, did I upset someone. I didn't have time to get brake pads, so I got them on the day, I didn't expect Corey to have any??!!

Starting an arguement without FACT = FAIL

I'm not EURO at all, I've only been on e38 6 months, don't take so much offence & grow up

In your opinion...
... in my opnions it looks good - different treatment and unique!

Indeed, horses for courses, wish people on forums, wouldn't cry so much when they get negative feedback.

ahhh yet ANOTHER case of a difference of opinion causing tears. Why cant people accept the fact that to some people they might not like it without getting their UZI keyboard out?

Jamie. Stop it. You know you're wrong, even if it does look good in white.

I'll never learn Mitch, BBR is best, BBR is best, BBR is best... that audio cassette still isn't working for me, I just can't believe it..... Sprint Blue still seals the deal for me (with the exception of Sepang!).

Perhaps it's the tone you take with people N8KOW :whistle2:
If you didn't like it, saying that it's not your 'cup of tea' would be wiser then terming it a 'fail'. Just my opnion. :p

Didn't have time? - You bought the calipers ages ago.

I'm not taking offence about the Grill, i've had many people comment that they don't like it when looking around the car at shows - as you say, 'horses for courses' so how does it fail anymore than your school boy error?

Seems to me you can't take as good as you give (and boy do you dish it out at times).

I did buy them ages = CORRECT

The week between me arranging to actually go to Coreys for the measure up, I actually didn't have time to go to merc and get them.

I just thought the grille was a fail as I prefer the optics, so it is a FAIL in my opinion, not that, that matters to anyone, as afterall all opinions are useless really. Everything is a preference of taste, afterall, you like it, and that ALL, that matters :moa:

You can dish what you want, but no point dishing when you don't know the facts. I will put up pics of my car later after I finish detailing it, and feel free to criticise it all you want :).

Nice to see you've been watching my movements so closely Jordan ;)

I hear your after a E92 M3 (good choice , my friends after one too), will you be at e38, I'll come and say hello :arco:

I dont even understand the relevance of posting up about Merc brakes pads and not turning up with them?! Whats that got to do with anything?!

Definaition of 'fail'

1. Having a white grill on your car?
2. Turning up to have new big brake kit fitted without brake pads?

Which is the biggest fail?

I think that is why it came up

Can we stop using the word fail ..........

Mikey If I'd have walked up to you at VW festival's S'n'S and said "FAIL" would you just accept I dont like your efforts?

It's got nowt to do with being a keyboard warrior, come up and say s**t like that to me an we'll start a new deinfition of fail.

Nath was NOT having his brake kit fitted that day tho! LOL. It's irrilevant that anyway. The way I see this is someone has taken it to heart that another person doesnt like the white grill, so they come out with an attack about somthing TOTALLY different. Geez, people might not things on my car or whatever else but I dont start throwing random attacks on them because of that! Aint the internet wonderfull.

Honestly, I wouldnt give a **** if you, or anyone said that to me, why would I? Wouldnt it be a bit childish if I started throwing a hissy just because not everyone liked my car?! :salute:

You're welcome to come say hello at Edition, you know where to find me.

Why don't we get back on track!

Is that the S3 that was on Ed38 that had the archwork issues? I'm sure rectified now!

Mikey have you actually read my posts? - I have no issue with anyone not liking my car.

Well for what its worth; respect for someones efforts & work counts for a lot in my book so I wouldnt. In that regard I treat people how i expect to be treated myself, know what I mean?

To clarify; calling someones effort & work - FAIL is bang out of order.

Brakes were being MEASURED UP, I hadn't had time to get pads, how many more times :keule:

LMAO. Thats so funny. I tell Mike everyday he's a FAILure. Even his mother does.

I can vouch for that..

I will Jordan, don't you worry :beerchug:

Mikey - as I said - I think it is the tone with which things are said that provoked a response.
Not likeing something is fine, if you word it in a way that is not provocative, ie, "it's not my cup of tea".
But to define not liking it as a 'fail' is provocative!

Either way, it seems you and N8KOW are the one's gettined defensive :blow:

I'm not getting defensive Jamie, nothing to be getting defensive over! I'm one of the more lighthearted people on this forum, believe me!
