    Hello,

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the APY and BAM knock sensor output voltages?? I believe the PN's to be different.

    Thanks

    Dave

Yes they Definately need to be changed. Not sure why but they need to be changed, but when I asked I was told the frequency was different due to different chip sets on the ecu.

They are the ones without wires, would have thought amk and bam would be the same. Mine cost £13 each new I think for a patent part. I know it's a risk with something as sensitive as knock but they seem to work fine.

BAM knock sensors on order, I will do a log before and after changing from the APY ones. Then we will know if it required for a APY to BAM wideband conversion.
