This just started today, every time I brake there's a knocking/clunking sound from the front of the car, sort of sounds like it's from the left front wheel, it happens when I brake hard, and when I brake slowly at all speeds apart from when I'm stationary.

Any ideas as to what it could be?

    Thanks

ah ****, when I got my clutch done the people doing it said it would fail on bushes at the front so will need doing before MOT, so I guess they have well and truly gone.

How expensive is it to get them replaced, the people that did the clutch and cambelt said it's only an hour job and isn't that big
