Hi,

Can you programme keys with Vag-Com?

My car only came with one key and wondered can i grab one of eBay and programme to my car?

Also can the new A3 keys be used with the old A3 (1999)

Do a search mate theres loads of info on here.

You can do it with vag-com but you will need to get hold of your 4 digit skc. This can be gotten with tools like vag-tacho or vag-commander... audi wont give you this code when they code a key for you.

That will probably be enough info to get you going. Ive done it using these tools but useless me typing it all back on here as its been discussed loads
