Keeping window clear

A bit of a random one, but does anyone else have a problem keeping their window screen clear of dew, particularly in the rain?

There's 2 possible methods to clear it that I can see:

1. heating on with control pointing to up position
2. window screen button (turns on air con)

Number 1 seems to work best, and option 2 just doesnt seem to work very well.

This is honestly the worst car I've had for misty windows.

I've never had a problem, that said I do keep the AC on all year round and just tend to use it to heat in the winter. I believe that helps keep the condensation down in the car at all times....
