Does anyone experience "kangarooing" on high mileage S4's. I thought it was lazy driving but it's happening more often when I pull away. It’s not a stalling/miss firing juddering but a non-dampened type, there is now power loss at all just an uncomfortable ride lol

Does the S4 have any clever dampening systems that prevent this type of behaviour which leads me onto my next question.....

I saw a list somewhere on here about jobs to doo at 100K, I’ve done some but can't find the list anywhere and it mentioned engine mounts which on my S4 seem to be an active type and wonder if these could be the cause of the above symptoms. Also, the list including replacing the "snub mount", what is this and what does it do?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Geoff

I got that on my A3 (8L) from a duff MAF sensor. New one sorted it. I was getting a fluffy idle as well.
