Gorgeous car! i thought it was black! Look lush!
Finally painted front.
Nope, lava grey
It's not done yet just the pic makes it look done
Anything else planned for it?
Spray the front and back bumpers to get them up to scratch
Honeycombe grille of some sort with purple rings to match the wheels
Mirror caps purple to match the wheels
TT rear fog light and both reverse lights working
Lamin-x the rear lights
DPF delete with custom turboback, decat, dual exit exhaust system

that picture have just convinced me, its got to be the S3 bumper over the s line!
Looking really really nice dude!
Want mine to look that shiney!!
Nothing mate, just a good clean. No wax or polish
Paintwork is amazing condition
Mine always come up gorgeous after a good wash, must do a proper detail some point soon
got to say lava grey is one of the best colours, it shows in different colours in different weathers, but the best colour is when its sunny and it looks like dark purple,
Ye i love it
I think that's why my wheels work so well with the car because they change colour too
One of my mates asked me why my car was brown at the weekend just the sunlight makes it change so many colours
Lave Grey is the sheeeit
Awesome photo of an awesome car!
Looks well mate! Would you be able to help me out with what is required for the S3 skirts?
Urrmm I cant see the bumper dink atm Jord, you sly dog you.
Looks great mate love lava grey!
I like the sound of your plans for it
TBH mate, i'm not too sure
I'm sure there's a thread on it in here somewhere, worth a search
Photoshop saved my life
yea was searching there then noticed your picture, did you not do yours yourself then?
NHN helped me out with all the parts and stuff buddy
ok no problem, any idea of cost? also did you buy second-hand then?
I got an entire S3 kit off ebay
Front bumper with fogs, washer jets, washer hoses etc, skirts, and rear bumper with valence and PDC sensors
Was £1100 i think all in
Great pic Jords
i carnt believe its lava gray ! honest mate it looks mint , said i wasnt going down the changing bumpers route but after seeing your pic it is making me want that bumper , what cleaning products you using fella as the shine on your car is really good , top notch looking car !
Thanks mate, the bumper change is a bit of a faff in all honesty, getting the washer jets and everything done. All credit to NHN once again, don't know where i'd be without him
The lava grey changes colour ALL the time
Sometimes it even goes a sort of metallic bronze colour in dull light, and then a purple tint in bright sunlight - i love it
Just a simple wash with some Megular's shampoo, 2 bucket method
Then on the day i went over her with a microfibre to get any dirt off, and then over it again with Megular's quick detailing spray - nothing special
One is glad to be of service, glad your very happy with my work, makes me feel good too
What wheels are they?
car looks amazing !!!!!!!!! very shiny !!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are VMR v710 i think. Unsure what model but know there VMR
Some of it still needs to be finished, i keep getting ripped for my car having a tail
I've only just noticed this.. Looks very shiny but a bit dark for my likings. Reminds me of darth vader...
I decided to go for the stealth look, so "darth vader" fits the bill perfectly
