Think this car is a scud...... I have also noticed (and its getting worse) a jingly mechanical noise when de-accelerating.....
!.9tdi 130 bhp with 78k miles, noticed above noise about 3 months ago when changing gear at about 2500 revs. When I take my foot off the accelerator it makes a jingly/ rumbley type noise for a second then stops. It also does it when I dip the clutch but feel its more from the throttle being released. It is definitely more noticeable when you load the engine and take your foot off the throttle quickly.
Also, if I give it a bit of hard driving the clutch can start to slip but recovers again when I drive normal for a bit.
Anyone any ideas?
