Impressive figures, one question are you still on the original clutch or has this been upgraded? Interested to know what the TI will do to life of the clutch.
I have VR6 clutch and an ABF flywheel, however the original clutch had done 110K and three years worth of being 200bhp 290lbft+ and only gave up after I put the FMIC on. The pressure plat was glazed and over heated, the friction plate was visually fine.
It's ok I guess.

When I told everyone that my car made 314lbft I think we might have got our wires crossed.
Lbft doesn't actually refer to the torque; what I meant was "little bits, formerly transmission."

No diff yet, I was toying with the idea but it can wait. Polybushing and brakes first
I think what has happened is that the hard casing on the gears has worn away, hence the super fine swarf and small chunks.
The oil wasn't that bad, but now it is changed it sounds SO bad.
Old gearbox oil was rather metallic and full of water

Was the clutch not changed recently Jardo? I'm guessing standard spec parts went in when it was done
**** luck with the box though bud. I would guess that the water would cause the increase in wear and I can't help but wonder how it got in there in the first place? You been pretending it's a Landy? lol
Yup, clutch was changed in December for a VR6 clutch and single mass G60 flywheel.
I will just get a paddle clutch like Prawn has linked to.
Ordered up the polybushes for the front lower arms and the front dogbone bush, the rear dogbone was changed last night and the gearbox mount is left to do.

Spent a few hours in the units at work with a rotary to bring it back up to scratch after the bad weather.

Just ordered Powerflex front and rear lower arm bushes, Powerflex front dogbone bush, engine and gearbox mounts, Powerflex steering rack bush, Powerflex rear axle bushes, a tube of Tiger Seal and a set of mats.

Tiger sealed engine and gearbox mounts -
Looking good dude, the bottom arm rear bushes should be a breeze to fit with a piece of wood and water pump pliers
Do you think we could get the front dogbone bush done that way? I'm trying to think of something genius; currently my best thought is letting the car down on a piece of wood over it with the dogbone supported by a socket...Any thoughts?
Isnt the tiger seal going to transmit the vibrations to the cabin?
New gearbox mount is loads better than what came out.
The old mount wasn't actually that bad to be fair, it had the same sort of movement that the new one did before being filled. But the tiger seal has made a massive difference, car doesn't hop and skip when the wheels spin now which is great.

Both my mounts were still in good shape after 123k miles. I've seen some come from cars with a lot less miles then mine and they've been dreadful. Gould could move it all about by hand!
How much were the mounts jado and where from?
Tiger sealing the engine mounts is something I have been meaning to do for ages... bought a tube of the stuff last year when I got all the gear for my battery relocation... would ideally prefer to buy VT mounts but this could act as a stop gap...
The THS ones I have were night and day different to the tired old ones I removed all those years ago but having driven a car with VT road mounts in I realise what I am missing out on and think my THS ones are a little tired now...
Vibrations in the car from the VT road mounts isn't bad at all... Bill did a BT conversion on a Polo a while back and the VT comp mounts used on that were evil... most of the cabin noise a 4k rpm seemed to be vibrations... Hollies TT in contrast on VT road mounts was no worse than my THS but felt far more connected...
This has moved its way up the todo list...

well done chap if its working. I currently have ina track density engine mounts, but I'm not convinced they couldn't be better. Might inspect a spare std mount and see where you apply this tiger seal.
