    Hi Guys,

I think I've finally found the rims I want for my A3, when it arrives.

They are 19" Audi BBS wheels and you can find them on the new TT and the A6, just wondering if anyone knew if the MK 5 Golf and new A3 have the same fittment?? I need to get these rims cheaper, they are £1400 for wheels alone from the oem us site and £426 each from Audi UK :wtf:

But they look GORGEOUS :hubbahubba: on that golf imo, just wondering what you think. That golf also hightlights, the advantages of having coilovers, they really can make or break a car. Looks fantastic.

    Feedback welcome.

    Thanks

    Nath

I like them, think they look really nice =) Quite pricey! but what your getting seems to be worth it. If it's the same fitment, when you be looking to purchase them?

i personally prefer genuine after market wheels, i think the audi/vw wheels just fetch extra income for VAG.

aftermarket wheels are build to a higher quality, and 100 times more aesthetically pleasing.

try looking for some OZ, MOMO, Lenso or smilar

i just got a set of MOMO WRS 17" on mine with a 225/45/17 tyre, i chose a slightly larger profile tyre for comfort. and i will add the car looks fantastic with them, why follow the crowd, be unique.

Anybody know what's the deal with BBS then? They're obviously still producing wheels for OEM, and selling wheels in the far east...

I have no idea what the ET is? whats the lowest a 2007 A3 will take? I think the wheels are gorgeous and I said, I need to get around that price.

That's a great deal. But the elite website specifies them as 8x19 whereas they are 8.5x19 on the Hartmann site - worth checking the width with elite.

    When are you getting them?

It says with 235/35/19, do you know what maars, I'm not sure they're gonna look right with the S3 bumper, so I'm keeping my options open, I seriously need to kick up girlfriend up the ass and get her on the photoshop!!! Then I'll know which ones will look right and which ones won't.

These wheels are Aluminium and are notorious for corroding. Be careful and check them thoroughly for the signs before buying.

I used to work in an audi dealership and we'd see new A6's with these wheels that had started to bubble after leaving the factory.

Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure they are gonna suit the car with the S3 bumper on it anyway. I've got my eye on different rims.

Thanks, how r you enjoying the S3?
