After LONG LONG LONG LONG last, I've finally put my rims on my car, almost at the end of summer, good timing  Well they are on for e38 and thats all that matters :lmfao:

The Rims are Audi BBS RS861s 19"x9 ET41 rear & ET52 front with a 10mm H&R Spacer. Wearing Pirelli P Zero Nero 215/35/19 with a healthy amount of stretch.

The faces have been painted Tornado Red (MK5 GTI colour) with the lips diamond cut, they were refurbed by Wheel Repair in Preston, Jerry is fantastic at what he does, I recommend any1 to him in the NW.

The car is on its lowest setting all the way round, so lowered about 70mm I believe. But if I'm being picky it could come down another 5mm maybe, but there is no rubbing and the ride is still good. I don't wanna take the adjusters out on the back.

    Here are the pics:

I'm really happy with my car now and the way its looking, not far to go till I hang up my modding boots (until Nigel comes up with more things :hubbahubba:)

    I won't cry :crying:

If you have any questions about anything, then feel free to ask.

    Thanks for looking.

I noticed that in your sig, I like the contrast of the pale akoya versus the very bright red. 17"s for the win :) Cheers again Khufu

I love the colour red particularly when its clean and waxed, the polished rims just finish them off.

    Great looking car:icon_thumright:

Cheers Lee, thought most people on this forum would be like "that looks :puke2: mate" Nah I wouldn't paint them red, as by october these will be off, new winter wheels on, then something fresh for 2010, I'm a proper wheel whore

    I don't like them.

    Hold on... yes I do.

    No.... I don't.

    I think I do.

Is it possible to like something, but dislike it at the same time?

I dunno, I'm staying out of it!

PS: One thing I definitely do like is the way the wheel colour goes with your rear lights. I like that.

    ......I think!! :lmfao:

Akoya, one of the best AUDI colours IMO.
Cool wheels, like the machined polished lip too........red spokes are too radical for me though:(.

I wouldn't ride around with this look but mainly because I'm too old to carry it off, certainly makes the car stand out and I am getting the look for shows etc, well done Nath, very brave but very cool too, nice shine on that motor too, good advertising for the detailing buisiness :)

Nicely executed ... but not to my taste.

Took 33 posts for the good old "marmite" comment to make an appearance.

I would've put my money on within 5 posts.

    Hi Kaz,

Thanks very much. I'm pretty much happy with the stance, it's settled abit more know, so its looking just right, I gave it a quick clean/clay/wax, it needed it!

I have to have custom bells and well as carriers, so when I next arrange to go back to corey it should be approximately 4 weeks from then, not long now.

LOL - I remember saying Red, and were like, red will look okay, but try a burnt orange? You remember? Anyway doesn't matter, Mike is my hero. Everything I know is learnt from him :)

Well I'm only 25, so hope I'm not too old? :faint: Cheers Martin, there will be alot of advertising to come.......

    Cheers Paul

    Cheers Aythree, I think

Have to say LOVE the dice, spot on.
Not sure about the colour, still loving the design of those BBS rims.
