    hi,

picking up the Sline avant b7 today and the mrs is keen i get the isofix rear brackets fitted for our baby seat.

there is actually one on ebay at the moment im watching which has the part number 8E0813545a but google seems to show that it fits a4's up to 2005 (mines a 55 plate) - Retaining plate for vehicles with child's seat. Floor assembly rear ; Luggage compartment floor ;. Audi # 8E0813545A, 8E0813545

But searching that same site the part number changes ever so slightly to - 8E0813545b for 2005-2008 A4's

does anybody have experience of whether these seats in the b6 & b7 are the same? both diargrams on each product look the same but im not sure.

    cheers

    Hi mate

That one on Ebay has now sold.

New Isofix brackets from Audi for the A4 B7 cost £51.85 each, plus £3.91 for a pair of bolts (all inc VAT)

    Nearside rear 8E0813545B
    Offside rear 8E0813546B
    Bolts VWHT001230

Offside rear bar on Ebay for just £25.50 which is a bargain! Genuine Audi A4 2005-2008 Right ISOFIX Mounting - 8E0 813 546 B | eBay

    Kind regards, Alistair

I'm pretty sure they're the same and a doddle to fit.

I thought these came as standard on all "modern" cars. I have them both sides and the passenger seat.

If they aren't, they aren't. I just thought it was a standard feature in cars. Even the missus old 52 reg Clio has them all round.

Call it cost cutting on early cars, that they didn't supply the brackets as standard.

The A4 B8 does come with them as standard. I drove a 2.0 TDI just last week whilst mine was being serviced. The engine sounded less of a diesel than my 2.0 TFSI!

I think the a and b are just left and right sides of the car.
