Is this something to worry about.

Just wondering if anyone knows what this is likely to be and if its something expensive or cheap to fix.
basically when my car has less than a quarter of a tank it takes a extra second or so to turn over, just wondering if this is actually fairly normal or not which i doubt it is. Specially as my previous car never had this problem.

I read on here that the fuel pump is worn so taking that extra second to get to pressure. Mine does the same and it doesn't bother me

Have a read of this - sounds similar, although in this thread the fuel pump is not the issue. Vrbob is investigating at the mo:
