Im not a cheapskate, just want it to scan for any fault codes i might have.

anyone have experience with these and do they actually read fault codes correctly?

some have been known to work, however some have not, people on here got similar and had no probs but you cant do alot with it, yes youll be able to fault find.
i would advise a genuine one myself, but each to there own, mines paid for itself over and over now, a very well worth purchase.

just pm you the one i have it is a ebay one but its the same just the older one works grate for codes and you can down load the newer one from ross tech with it so it cant be bad.
the reall dill is 240 ish from some one on here im toying with getting it when i have the spear cash but im lucky and have a friend in the usa and can get it for a less when i can. :icon_thumright:

nhn is your man on here that sells them, hes a genuine guy and he sell the genuine cables 100% many on here buy from him, ill vouche for him as would any other member on here thats delt with him.

I use one of these cables with an old version of vag-com, it works fine and is handy for scanning for codes etc..
