All it'll do is overfuel and smoke like a red arrow. It makes the ECU think it's not getting enough fuel so it chucks in a load more. Whereas a remap adjusts the amount of fuel (along with loads of other things) so more is injected when it's needed, and only when it's needed. With this thing you'll be lucky if it's only your mpg you ruin.

If you had a £200 clapped out motor then I'd say what've you got to lose, but on a car you've spent decent money on it's not worth the risk.
