Is my Turbo vari vane??

I know the later Turbos fitted to the 1.9 TDis are vari vane, but are they on the early ones as fitted to my AFN 1997???

I think all the AFN engines were VNT turbos.

easy way to find out if the turbine housing has a doe nut shape and the actuator arm sits on top not on the side of the turbine housing
