iPod dock change to ami

I have a 2009 s3 is it possible to change my iPod dock in the glove box to the ami unit? Does it have the same connectors etc?

It is possible but the connectors on the back of the iPod dock and AMI are different. When I removed the iPod dock and replaced it with AMI I had to buy a wiring harness adapter. I have a pre-facelift but I would imagine the wiring is the same.

Also you need RNS-E with the 'Media' button for AMI.
