    Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if the seats when you have full leather come with the "S-Line" logo on.

Now maybe the current model "i.e current grill ones don't"

I would just like to clarify this up a little for full leather.

Also one more addition is when you order S-Line and the aluminium inserts, is the gear knob in alu extra or within the cost?

So Dave, you have had to fork out the full price of the leather option to get full leather on your s-line. I am only asking, as i will be going down this route, but i asked a local dealer, who said the pricing had been amended to take into account the s-lines 1/2 leather, and the cost of this was £750. The dealer was Wayside Milton Keynes (Bletchley). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif

No not according to audis website....However I may well be wrong and it's a valid point you make also.

Come to think of it Iv'e never thought of it like that before.
I will bare that one in mind and let you know the outcome most likely on Wed/Thurs.

This is how the deal will work as always.

    1. Go to Dealer Discussion on whats what.
    2. We ask what price they do it for, we hae a quote form the drivethedeal.
    3. He goes in the back "Asks sales manager" Comes back and says we can't possibly do it for that as we wdnt be making any money.
    4. We leave....Going to buy from another dealer.
    5. They ring back a week later, are you still looking....

    6. We were gonna buy from this dealer anyway, Deal Sorted in the end.

General Idea..... IT happened with our last 2 audi's.

Now what kind of % discounts are available at the moment as in my previous post are the drivethedeal quotes possible?

All sounds good, and very true. Lol.

Drive the deal quotes are quite possible, and sometimes the dealer may even beat them too. Just shop around the dealers, if they won't play ball, find one who will. I have found that some of the sales men are really full of ****, and won't budge on the price, whereas some who are decent guys, are quite forth coming with attractive deals. At the end of the day, most of us, would be happy buying from a dealer with a couple of grand knocked off.

Good luck, and let us know how you get on. [IMG]

You can download the price list in Acrobat for all the details. The S line leather is £750. Standard Sport is £1,060 per the April prices. Website is rarely up to date in my opinion!

  12. Latest UK price list is here:

    Sportback Price List

Note the comment "sport front seats with black leather side bolsters and centre sections in black Speed Cloth (no change to steering wheel, alloy wheel or upholstery possible with S line models)"

Looks like the beggars have also finally sorted out the pricing of the 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel at last. Alas, too late for my order /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

For the pricelists, go to Audi UK homepage. Scroll down the right hand side and you will see "Request a Brochure". Click here and on the left hand side of the screen you will then see the option to download pricelists. V quick if you have broadband and prints out in the same format as the paper ones from the dealer.

    Good luck!

    hehehe Cheers for that...

    Here is my spec.

    - 2.0 TQ S-Line in Misano Red
    - Arm Rest
    - Full Leather
    - Vortex Bodykit
    - Light & rain Sensor Pack
    - Accoustic Rear
    - Interior Light Pack
    - DVD Sat Nav + ( Possible ) Delete if dealer gets no where near
    - Bose no matter what
    - Pearl Paint

I think thats it, if the dealer matches the quote along with the discount in leather as you all stated then I should be able to afford ( Bankrupt ) myself for July.

It's all a matter of Thursday and whethere they will be able to place an order and if there will be a price increase which wouldn't suprise me.

    3 Door.

It works out at around £27600 in total but thats relying on a drivethedeal price. If this isnt possible then i'll drop the sat nav plus and go for sympthony II and normal nav.

The S-line full leather option is now available on 3-door and sportback for black leather only.

Dave, didn't you fancy xenons and cruise control? And what about a cd changer if you go for the sat nav +.

I paid £750 for the full leather on the Sportback S-Line.

As mentioned above, dealer said I wouldn't get the logo's.

Impressive spec or not,I would rather bandsaw my own scrotum than spend £30K on an A3 sized car...
    Madness,IMHO.

I'd rather bandsaw my own scrotum than spend £30,000 on a 'Poverty Spec' larger than A3 sized car

Here in Ireland when I tell people my A3 cost the guts of €40,000(21%VAT and 30% Vehicle Registration Tax), I get comments of,

"Jaysus! You could have gotten a brand new Audi A4 for that!!"

    I always reply

"Why Yes, you are correct, i could have gotten a lovely 1.6 A4 with fabric seats and 15in steel wheels and no other options. What a fool I was, why didn't I get a dog slow, poverty spec barge with a larger boot, that I could fit the golf clubs I don't own in"

One of our MD's just bought an S-type Jag sport with the 2.7 diesel engine, which is superb.
Loaded to the gunnels with spec, incl satnav.
    Lovely motor,absolutely top notch.
He paid £30K for it,brand spanking new, after negotiating a discount.
    That's just one example.
    There are probably hundreds more.

Ireland may be different, but £30K gets you a helluva car in the UK,and certainly not a cloth seated 1.6 base model.

If my company car budget stretched to £30K then, great car or not,an A3 would not be on my list !

    You reckon a £30K A3 wouldn't depreciate ? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh_roll.gif

I've been looking at what £30K can get you and the choice is mind boggling. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked2.gif

Not a problem I forsee having though... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
