interior light swap

    the sline quattro i have came with ****ty non map lights , has anyone tried to fit the 8L versions to the 8P , not sure if the front light is the same as the newer one ,but the rear one looks a close match and is much cheaper also.

    So you want to downgrade?

    I'd go with the 8P housing if I were you, as I don't think Ambient Lights are available on the 8L model... and if your switching, your life won't be complete without the ambient lighting goodness. :)

    no i want to upgrade to ambient + map lights in black/charcoal . just that the rear 8l light is same part no except for the 8l prefix

    Try scanning the classifieds, sometimes parts like these come up for sale! ...or a site sponsor might do a deal... Stoke Audi, NHN (Nigel)! or a retro-fitter ...Ash187, etc.

    the light with the ambient is damn dear, i was going to do it but money would be best served else where.

    I bought the ambient LEDs from Audi for £16 and drilled my existing lamp.
    The wiring connections are already there.
    Great cheap easy mod.
