interior light problem

    I have just bought an a4 and have found that when the fuse is replaced for the interior light circuit it blows immediately, i have tried it with the battery disconnected too and its the same on reconnection. has anybody had this problem before, or any ideas on possible causes? thanks!

    central locking working? as the control box/pump is known to get water logged in the passenger rear qtr due to leaky drains etc

    Otherwise, have you dropped the unit down to see if all the wires are connected, on may have come off and be shorting, so many possibilities i am afraid

    yeah i have removed all interior lights and door lights and no evidence of water or rust or loose/shorting wires.
    central locking works, but the indicators dont flash! not sure if alarm still works actually!

    indicators dont flash on early models, it just makes a horn noise
