Interior light on & window electrics not working

Hi,

Jumped in my 2005 A4 this morning to find that the electric windows don't work and the interior light is permanently on.

I've switched off the interior light - but I think is is still pulling power out of the battery.

Phoned Audi and they won't look at it until Wednesday!

Any ideas what it might be? Convenience electrics pack?

Sounds like water got into the car, is there any water in the area where the battery is? Also the seal around the pollen filter can fail allowing water into the car.

No - there's no water. It's completely dry.

It's probably a broken wire in the drivers door loom where it goes from the 'A' post to door.
Most likely the brown wire.

Yes - wiring loom in drivers door was the problem. Charged £320 for the priviledge of having it fixed at dealer!
