interior light comes on whilst driving

Hi all

i have a 1999 s3.
and now and then the interior light comes on when driving? also sometimes the light doesnt come on when i open the door?

any ideas on where to start looking please.

micro switch for the light ,alarm and door open dis on the dash are in the door locks try spraying some wd40 as they tend to stick normally the least used door my passenger ones had a few doses of wd40 over the years spray it in the latch mech and work it by opening and closing a few times
