hi guys, looking to upgrade the inter cooler on my 2.0tfsi and was just wondering what options people had come across before?? I know that Wagner and forge both do them but was wondering if anybody had gone with a universal inter cooler set up??

Thanks in advance:)

I have looked at my E-bay purchases and these are the parts I bought. At the time they were just about the cheapest as they all came from the same place. Good quality though and I have had no issues.

Had a look on ETKA the 2.0T part number 8K0145805G is 663 * 142 *64 = 6.025L and does appear to be smaller than the 3.0 TDI

The 3.0 TDI 8K0145805E is 720 * 140 *80 which is 8.06L so it thicker and longer.
Roughly speaking 3 Litres of volume for every 100bhp so the standard one is good for 200bhp, the 3.0 one 266bhp .
Strange that on Ebay the 3.0 TDI item is also being shown as fitted on the 2.0 TDI and 2.0 TFSI It would be a straight swap as the boost hoses are the same size at 62mm.

The J line I fitted to my car works out to 9.7L so good for around 320bhp.
