I just got off the phone to Revo for a bit of advise on tuning upgrades and what parts are available for this engine.

Seen a good few threads when using the search feature and there are barely any replies. Rather than ressurect those threads i thought it would be good to make this one so anyone who searches may come across this.

He mentioned the 1.8TFSI can use the same intakes as the MK6 GTI 2.0T unit.
Not sure how different the A3 2.0TFSI is but the 1.8TFSI uses a newer style KO3 turbo which is also in the MK6 GTI.

Link below to an ITG kit, The engine bay is practically Identicle!
Awesome - ITG Induction Kit - 2.0 TSI - Golf Mk6, Scirocco, Octavia II

Also apparently the exhaust systems are also identicle, He mentioned the FWD 2.0TFSI exaust for the A3 2.0TFSI will also work but Milltek specifically do a kit for the 1.8TFSI.

Hope this helps, Im going to hunt for an intake now

The car breath alot easier and runs smoother and the noises:wub:
My car is stock and it makes a difference but when you'll get a remap it's gonna be even better mate!!!

i wasnt able to find a specific kit from ITG for our engine but im keeping an eye out as im sure they will release something for the 2.0TSI in the MK6 GTI. we can then use that.

Im holding fire with the intake atm tho, going to do my xenons and defo stage 1 remap. Im not sure it will make a huge difference on our engine compared to the S3, for some serious power maybe save the money get a downpipe and panel filter with a stage 2.
