My insurance is up this month and this is the first time I've shopped around since buying my A4 in August.

Best quote I've had is £450 from Esure.

I'm 32 live with my girlfirend ( she is 30 and has no points or claims) I have 5 years NCB protected but 3 points for an SP60 this year.

Anyone reccomend some others to try.

The best confused.com could come up with was £600!!!!!

Ive got mine with Sainsburys, they were £325 fully comp for me and the missus on her provisional.

Sainsburys insure through Esure BTW and when I swapped last year from Esure to Sainsburys, Sainsburys worked out cheaper!

How the hell they work that one out is beyond me.

Unfortunately they don't seem to like me either- £650! Looks like Esure still in pole with £450!

All you can do is phone around. What works for one person might not work for you.

Sorry, can't offer any better advice

Have just renewed with Adrian Flux. Cost me £417 for me (44, with full protected no claim & 6 points) and my wife (54, no points but licence only held two years) on a 2003 A4 2.4. That also included breakdown cover.

I checked it against Confused.com & it was easily the cheapest. No one else got within £35 of Adrian Flux's figure.
