Just noticed that when I switch my headlights on I don't get the little green headlight lamp showing in the instrument cluster. My last A3 used to do this.
I do get the blue lamp when I flash my main beams though.

Haven't had a chance to hook up to vagcom to have a look if there's a way to code it / enable it.

    Anybody know if it's possible??
And if so, what the coding should be.

Or is it just not working??

The newer clusters dont have it any more (2010). What year is your newer car?

Mine doesn't show a symbol neither.

I have auto lights so I presume it is something to do with that.

My last A3 had auto lights as well and it still had the headlight lamp.
My current A3 doesn't have auto lights.

Now you mention it, I think I read a similar question somewhere for A4's.
Did your workmate enable it on an A3??
