Injector cleaning in London

Hi,

I need my injectors flow tested and cleaned.

Can you recommend anywhere in london to get it done?

Anyone know how much it will roughly cost to get done for my 1.9 tdi injectors?

do it yourself, i went maplin bought the cleaner for £40 and done it myself, and i use it to clean other things

Really???

I know a few people who have done theirs with petrol engines but not people with diesels.

With a 1.9tdi is it easy enough to take the injectors out and do it yourself?

im sure the diesel is that same, its literally 2 allen key bolts 2 electrical plugs and the injectors pop out, simple as! and the ultra sonic cleaner is hand for loads of stuff from CD's to watches rings necklaces ect...

Would love to hear from anyone who has cleaner their own diesel injectors just to confirm it can definitely be done?

I thought the tdi injectors have a 2 stage pressure pop and need to be balanced and pressure tested.
PD injectors far more complicated

to just clean em through I run biodiesel and that cleans out the fuel system like a dream...
just change the fuel filter after a couple o tanks
I get quality biodiesel in North London from www.purefuels.co.uk just off A406
have run 2 non-PD tdis over 10K on this with no negative issues [one still belongs to a friend and is pushing 200K]
- just a saving on fuel!
Talk to Tom who runs the place about any reliability concerns - he knows his stuff!
