inermittent rear light

when i open my doors sometimes the lights above the rear seats dont come on. All the other lights work as normal.

Silly question, but have you checked the bulbs?

Is there any water in your rear footwells?

the rear footwells are dry.

the light didnt work when i got the car and i thought it could be the bulb but then the other day is started working and now it doesnt.

i will check the buld to make sure

Probably a dodgy bulb and/ or connection I imagine?

I had it in my A4, a sharp tap on the outside of the lens would bring it back again. I just squeezed the sides of the bulb holder so it clamped the bulb a bit tighter. Job done :thumbsup:

Could be the old water in ECU problem, a long shot as you'd probabily get more issues with locking n windows etc but worth a check.

Check under the carpet as the inner footwell and outer (bit under carpet) are sealed watertight
