In-Tank Fuel Pumo Assembly - Is there room to mount twin pumps in their???

Hi all,

As the tittle above asks I'm looking to find out without having to rip out the intank fuel pump assembly to determine if its physically possible to mount dual fuel pumps either inside the OEM pickup pumps basket/tank or in a custom fabricated mount that replaced the entire OEM assembly?

Any information that you can provide on this would be appreciated, ideally if someone happened to have the basket out or one lying around that they could take pics of showing its major dimensions etc for me to to some calcs would be totally awesome.

i was planning o pulling it this weekend coming but if anyone an save me the hassle it would be much appreciated!

It's simpler to get just an aftermarket lift pump, i used a facet posiflo on my a6 with very good results !
