I've decided to fit a pc in my car so that i can use it for playing back mp3's, generally pc stuff and have Vag com hard wired in. I sorted it so i can get a 1 Ghz, with 256mb of ram and a 30 gig hard drive in the arm rest ( as i never put any thing in it), playing back though a alpine screen already in the dash.

Just wondering if anyone has fitted a pc in their car and any tips they might have, mainly on making the power supply stable so not to crash the PC ?

    Settle, that sounds cool.

Don't know much about the power supply side of things, but if you get it installed, post some pics /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I'm mystified as to why you'd do such a thing. Personally I'd keep anything to do with Bill Gates well away from my vehicle.
