Idles like a bag of...

my car idles like a bag of crap coughs and splutters all over few bullet points first
*If you put slight gas on to 1.5k revs it doesnt do it
*when you first start car and rev limit is higher for a min or so it doesnt do it till it starts dropping
*i have had all new coil packs and maf (cars a 1.8t)
*i have the wrong lamdba wiring in from conversion which is going to get changed but with the same wiring its idled mint for over a year
*had a pressure test and car holds good pressure on jakes leak tester
*had new dv
*loads of new piping
*throttle body cleaned and aligned when conversion was done

I have had other bits and bobs done but will remember if people say it


What options could cause a really really bad idle really bad

My car doesn't always idle smoothly either... perhaps not as bad as yours sounds, I always thought it was just the character of engine

Vacuum pipe leak somewhere?

Faulty Temp sender?

I take it you have Vagcom'ed the car?

vagcom done only lambda error which has been there ages and also not vac leak as had all that pressure tested
