hi lads just sorting out a nice system in my A4. got an alpine media unit with a six disc changer so prob go for alpine speakers.

can anybody tell me what size i need in the front (maybe 4 or 5.25 with 1" tweeter?) and whether i need mounting brackets to accomodate for a different size? can you install 6x9/ 7x10s easily in the back, i.e. mounted from underneath retaining original shelf? any help would be much appreciated.

I was gonna go for two sealed 8 or 10" audiobahn subs in a sealed enclosure for tight bass as i love trance and house... alpine subs are good; but not as good...

    cheers dave

    5.25 fronts with connects2 CT25AU03
    adaptors

    6.5 rears with CT25AU04

Big magnets will not fit front adaptors without moddifiying them first

You can butcher and use original speaker mounts if you are carefull i have done this many a time before
You will also need a amp lead too if not amping them
This is also available via connects2 but autoleads is less bulky to hide behind dash hope this helps
