Finally got around to detailing my A3 after negotiating some space in my Dad's garage.

The products I used were Iron-X, Juicy Clay & Lube, Chemical Guys Glossworks Glaze & Dodo Juice Supernatural Hybrid wax, all bought from Juicy Detailing.

Here are a few before, during and after pics, although the car was fairly clean prior today's efforts.

The photos were taken with my iPhone 4.

Iron-X doing its thang - was really shocked at how many metal particles had got into 8 month old paint.

Awesome! Love the Ibis white!

I too have an Ibis White car.. But it's such a hard colour to show off that glossy sheen you get after detailing the car :(

I know your pain LOL

In bright sun it seems to swallow everything yet in the duller days it shines and reflects lovely.

Top marks, looks clean enough to eat your dinner off.

With regards to it being a hard colour to show off, have you tried the Werkstat Acrylic Kit? I used it on my old Silver Clio and it looked awesome. Really glossy and wet looking.

Werkstat acrylic is fantastic!

It's very difficult to achieve a really deep gloss on light coloured cars. I find sealants give the paint a sharper appearance than waxes for white/light colours

+ 1 for Werkstat. The beading is amazing. The flake pop on my silver A3 is immense. My brother also uses it on his Ibis A3 and it makes the paint look very deep.

And the best thing about the Werkstat kit, other than it looking very good, is that it's so easy and quick to use!

I opted for the stuff i've used based on budget & Juicy advice, as well as durability, with working away and my lovely little girl (14 mths) I don't get the spare time I used to, so hopefully this should last 6 months thereabouts between details.

I love white but am disappointed it doesn't reflect as much as other colours.
