Rather than post a thread diluting the section with a torrent of 'what's it worth' threads please could you do the following...

Look on ebay, autotrader and piston heads to gauge where the market is at on std (ish) cars of your year/model/condition, add approx 1/3 to 1/2 the value of money spent on mods and you have a ball park...

At the end of the day they are worth what someone is willing to pay due to the level of mods yours has...

This goes for cars with a simple remap and an uprated DV to a 500hp big turbo monster.... the more your car moves away from the std spec the narrower your market will be... remember that...

Most 'whats it worth' threads typically end up being no different to posting a classifieds ad only without a price...

Please make the effort to do a little research for yourselves as most of us would only have to look on the aforementioned sites anyway to answer your queries...

At the age of our cars (A3/S3 8L's in this context) and various levels of modification that they are potentially at its difficult to gauge what someone will be prepared to pay...

At the end of the day you know what you paid for the car, you know how much you have spent running and modifying the car so realistically the only gauge is market value (actual market rather than what a trader would give) plus any extra value your servicing and mods provide... factor in trends to peoples feelings on 'performance' cars and state of the economy etc too...

Best of luck with the sales people and sorry to see you go...
