Hybrid maf question

Afternoon all ,

Would a standard MAF housing be good for a 300bhp hybrid ?

Or would it be worth getting a VR6 housing and getting a TIP made up (as I have a ko3s)

Any help would be awesome !

It's an a3 AUM buddy

for a hybrid on an AUM you'll be needing an S3 / LCR / 225TT MAF housing. Either with the attached 049 sensor or using your existing sensor.

The VR6 MAF is for earlier me3.8 ECU's and is quite different.

Your AUM has an ME7.5 ECU, as do the S3/LCR/TT.

What's the difference in my MAF compared to the s3/lcr/tt ?

You're is 70mm outer dia and the s3 one is 80mm

ermmm... thought this was for a hybrid not a K03s???

What hybrid are you going for? K300?

For a K300 you would need to get Bosch 550cc injectors, S3/TT (225)/LCR MAF housing and the large bore TIP... I thought Beach Buggy turbos did a TIP for this turbo anyway?

K300 was the idea yes , and I wasn't aware they did there own tip !

I'm just trying to get ideas of size for cone filter ect .

I've just had a look and there tips are 80mm which makes life a lot easier !
