Huming after car is shut down

this may be normal may not but........... when I shut the T down I hear a low whinning sound coming from under the hood this is louder with the top down as it should be I am hoping that it is the Turbo winding down and is really nothing to worry about but would like to know for sure can anyone help me out or put my worries to rest.......thanks

Perfectly normal. Its an auxilliary water pump that continues to run for about 10 minutes after the engine has been turned off.

Just to back that up, it is perfectly normal. I was very cautious at first, however, as many others on the TT forum suggested, it is normal.
