To make sure your summer tyres survive the winter, all you need to do is store them correctly. If the rubber is badly stored, it can crack and lose its properties. It is therefore recommended to follow these simple storage rules : Store them in a dry, ventilated, and warm place (10 â 25°c) Make sure no chemical substance comes into contact with the rubber (solvents, hydrocarbons) to avoid deterioration. Store tyres with or without a rim differently Storage with a rim : DONâT STORE THEM STADING UP, HANG THEM UP OR STACK THEM UP Storage without a rim : DONâT STACK THEM UP, DONâT HANG THEM UP, STORE THEM STANDING UP AND TURN THEM EVERY 4 WEEKS If youâre not able to store your tyres at home, many garages or car dealers can look after your summer tyres for not too high a price.
