How to replace full wing mirror

Does anybody have a guide to replacing the full wing mirror, mine has been knocked off. Bought a replacement but it comes with areally long wire that drops into the door. Any help would be appreciated

door card off job mate, the unit should be held on by one big allen key bolt, its fairly easy to plug n play as they say with the old unit out and new one in
