how to remove orangepeel effect

Hi guys.

Can anyone recommend how to get rid of the orange peel effect. I got it sprayed at a night class at college and would love to get the peel effect removed.

It's probably going to be best solved with wet-sanding, followed by machining out the sanding marks.

That's assuming the orange peel is in the clearcoat and not the paint. If it's in the paint then I'm afraid it's a much bigger job than just sanding!

As John says, it always requires a lot of wetsanding (best by machine using a paint thickness gauge to monitor the removal rate) and then some aggressive machine polishing to remove the sanding haze. See here for a good example of how it is done...
