Can someone tell me how to attach pictures to a post please? I want to show my newly installed dashboard cup holder which I retrofitted today! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/groovy.gif

It took some effort but I got there in the end, and I know a few of you also wanted to perform this mod on the earlier A3 models!

Looking forward to the pics. Did it fit without too much bother or did you have to pull the whole centre dash out? How much was the part?

Hi Mark my car is pearlescent blue, and was a colour from the earlier A3's. It's a relativelty rare colour - I haven't got many pics of her yet with the new RS6 wheels but will get around to it soon!

Just tidying the car up now after the install so will post pics of the cup-holder soon!

The ASR is what ESP used to be known as on the earlier A3's - mr car doesn't have this but instead I modified it to control my fog lights as I don't have the 2-stage pull switch for the lights (used for the front/rear fogs). The other switch is for the heated rear window.

Those 2 switches used to be on the left of the Hazard light switch but I moved them over to the right so the cup holder (when in use) doesn't interfere with the infra-red signal from my steering wheel remote to the stereo.
