How much should a non-working air con knock off the selling price?

Evening all,

I am considering selling my Avant (sad face, I know, but I do not need an estate anymore). The air con is busted, I haven't bothered to check what is exactly wrong with it, I was just happy to put a window down.

From your expert opinions do you think a busted air con system will affect the selling price? Will I need to knock the price down alot? Or just be honest and say its broken.

any help or tips greatly appreciated.

Depends whats wrong.I would wait and see if its picked up on.It could put someone off if they assume the worst or maybe someone like you wont be bothered

i wouldnt buy with a broken aircon
as it could be a simple fix or a more expensive fix
as above just advertise with aircon not working then your covered.
