HIYA PEOPLE
THE TIME HAS COME FOR ME TO SELL MY CAR, I AM NOW MOVING ON TO GET AN AUDI TT, BUT FIRST I NEED TO SELL MY AUDI A3 1.8 TURBO, IT IS ON A R PLATE REGISTRATION, BLACK IN COLOUR, 70000 MILES ON THE CLOCK, FULL SERVICE HISTORY, 18 INCH ALLOYS, IT HAS BEEN CHIPPED AND IS RUNNING CLOSE TO 200BHP (have the graphs to prove it) K&N FILTER DUMP VALVE EXHAUST SYSTEM. THE CAR DRIVES LIKE A DREAM. ALSO HAVE SOUND FITTED.

CAN ANYONE GIVE US A GUIDE PRICE OF HOW MUCH I SHOULD ADVERTISE THE CAR FOR, I WAS THINKING AROUND £5500 AS THAT IS HOW MUCH NORMAL AUDI A3 TURBOS GO FOR WITH MY MILEAGE

BELOW ARE SOME IMAGES OF THE CARS EXTERIOR THERE IS A SCUFF ON THE FRONT AND BACK BUMBER NOT MAJOR

IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED PM ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS

Secondly your car is probably worth about £5k, your mileage is average for the age of car. Mods will devalue it second hand if anything... Looks nice though...

Hey,

the book on the 1.8t with your milage is £5,580 on a private sale so i guess around the £5000 - £5500 mark would be ok.

Always a good idea to check autotrader to see what the competition is like.

As for the mods, I have to agree with cupramax on this one - mods make any car unique so unless your selling it to someone who wants a modded car it may be harder to sell than the normal version

migt be worth advertising it in the trading post here as well as other modified car mags etc.

Looks nice, but would look miles better with the Revision 2 A3 lights on & maybe up your price, A3 turbos usually go for just over the £5000 mark on ebay with this mileage, id sell it through the autotrader if i were you though, they get snapped up very quickly!

Just put a pair of rev 2 lights on mine & only took 15 mins to fit!

Good luck with selling the car.

Having sold the wifes S reg on autotrader for £6.1k with 67k miles/leather/cc/1 owner from new, I advertised it for £6.9k as there was a wide spread of similar cars on there from £4-£8k and it had just been serviced with 2 new tyres.
We also put together a sellers pack, with a summary on the front of all the services, MOT's etc, with all the paperwork backing it up, which seemed to go down well.
First serious caller bought it as they were looking for an unmolested example, the mods actually put people off unless you find someone who can appreciate them.
Also be prepared to be knocked down if the cambelt hasn't been done. We got a quote from the specialist we use so they could see how much it would cost, rather than be frightened off by a stealer estimate.

i have the cambelt replaced on my last service, at roughly 60000,

the car is booked in for a service end of this week,
