How many miles on a set of rubber?

Hi guys,

I'm driving a 3.0tdi coupe and am wondering what kinda mileage you are getting from a set of front tyres. I'm at 9k and they already look pretty worn.

quattro cars will always wear tyres quicker, you have to take into consideration brand, tyre pressure, driving style, load weights, tracking issues etc.

Must admit that I fit a set of Michelin Pilot Sports on the front and they are already down to 5mm after about 3K.

I keep them at @ 38 PSI.

I do occasionally put them through their paces though
